Job Summary:

In this role you will focus on plant products testing, water system, environment and incoming raw material in Micro lab. You will be responsible for lab equipment validation, maintenance and calibration to comply the cGMP always.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To manage the resources and daily operations of the laboratories to support plant activities.
• To oversee routine & non-routine testing in the micro laboratory, as well as supporting laboratory matters such as equipment maintenance & calibration, purchase of consumables.
• To provide microbiological expertise to plant operations.
• Perform & oversee routine & non-routine microbiological tests of raw/auxiliary materials, in-process products, finished goods & water system.
• Ensure adequacy of laboratory support systems (equipment, consumables, peripherals, reagent preparation, accessories, manpower).
• Set up microbiological test/equipment methods whenever required. Perform test method validation/inter-lab round robins.
• Provide technical support in the form of microbiological investigations of test method, process & product to facilitate timely resolution of OOS, deviations, non-conformances, specification review, Change Control etc.
• Perform non-routine investigations for product & process.
• Write/review/implement procedures/protocols/studies relating to microbiological tests.
• Provide training to new staff/interns.
• Feedback to Supervisor /QA Manager any problems on process deviations and quality issues which are beyond your control.
• Conduct any other job assigned by QA manager and Supervisor.
• To comply the cGMP always.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in microbiology (or other microbiological field) with at least four years of microbiological laboratory working experience.
• Advanced Diploma/Diploma in microbiology (or other microbiological field) with four years’ working experience.
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good communication skill, with team work spirit.
• Good computer skill.
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
• Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
