We are looking for a Senior SQL Server DBA and Cloud Operations (m/f/d) who will be responsible for the management of critical SQL Server systems in the Eagle Datacenter (on premises and in cloud services), to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our internal customer solutions. The DBA will also be the Technical responsible for customer solutions, interacting heavily with the solution managers, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The DBA must also have the availability to perform tasks during non-office hours and weekends occasionally due to alerts raised by Incident Management Tools. What do I need to qualify for this job? Senior MS SQL Server DBA (m/f) 4+ years’ experience in Administration and Management of SQL Server 2012 to 2019 including Installation and Configuration, Troubleshooting, Performance Tuning and Optimization and Monitoring (knowledge of Nagios is a plus) Experience with VLDB's (Very Large Database systems) Experience with SSIS Experience with SSRS and/or Power BI Experience with SSAS 4+ years’ experience T-SQL knowledge and database architecture (integrity, indexing, partitioning,...) Extensive experience with Automation using Powershell Vulnerability checking Experience setting up Failover clustering and AlwaysOn availability groups Experience defining and implementing Backup and Recovery strategies User Access Management (roles, permissions, certificates, proxies) Data Security (TDE, Connection encryption, Always Encrypted). Fluency in English (mandatory). Knowledge of Ansible/AWX, AWS, Azure Cloud, Azure IoT Edge are a plus. Availability for On-call Duty work (mandatory).
