Position Summary

Bentley Systems offers an exciting opportunity for talented individuals who are enthusiastic about leveraging bleeding-edge technologies to develop multi-user collaboration software. We are looking for a software engineer, who would contribute to our software solutions, which integrate PDFTron and Microsoft products such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft Office 365 with our Bentley ProjectWise and SYNCHRO platforms. The successful candidate will be a member of the software development group that belongs to Bentley’s Enterprise Systems unit, implementing new features, services, and solutions for the Enterprise Systems software.

 

Responsibilities

• Design responsibilities include participating in defining and interpreting feature requests, documenting those requests in functional specifications, and designing specific services and features for stability, security, usability, and maintainability
• Implementation responsibilities include using the latest development tools to turn the designs into actual software products
• Testing responsibilities include developing and maintaining unit test and integration tests
• Support responsibilities include maintaining the existing code base and aiding the support group

 

Requirements

• 2+ years professional experience with at least one of C#/C/C++/Java/other programming language
• Solid understanding of software architecture and application lifespan
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English language 
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity 
• Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually and as part of a team 

 

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of the .NET framework, MVC and .NET Core
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, React and Node.js
• Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud offerings and services
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, CI, CD and DevOps processes

Please note if you are employed full-time salary for this position ranges from 3700 EUR gross (before taxes).
