As a PQ Business Development Manager, you will be engaging with the medium power consultants, contractor and the end user to engagement with these clients to develop new business opportunities for Eaton. Engagement will be directed towards Contractors and their channel partners who will require communication confidence both technically and commercially. The ideal candidate would be able to represent Eaton to a senior level in the client. The target goals of this role will be to increase Eaton’s market share within the medium power quality level, exceeding sales targets and maximizing margin in accordance with the company’s ethics and guidelines with particular attention to credit/ insurance guidelines for customers. The role will require a clear understanding and onboarding of Eaton’s strategic direction within this market place, and the ability to communicate and operate among peers and colleagues to support the strategic approach. This is a Home Based role and you will work within our world class Sales Team in our Slough Site. FUNCTIONS: Retain and Grow. Deliver against sales and revenue targets in excess of £3m per annum and in addition with Eaton margin expectation. Drive Eaton’s sales pipeline with these customers increasing the business mix for Eaton’s diverse portfolio. Deliver against short / medium term forecast and create growth opportunities longer term. Acquisition of strategic customers and contractors and building strong relationships Improve awareness of Eaton and the Eaton brand by building relationships with new contacts across clients’ business, Growth. Cross Sell to drive new business opportunities, either directly or working with partners in the areas of Power Distribution, Energy Storage, IT Infrastructure and Eaton Services. Team contribution. Work within a direct peering team of sales people and business units. Provide appropriate insight on the broader market impact of contractor base to identify new opportunities for the business. Gathering, identifying and reporting customer and market information on new or prospective products while accumulating and evaluating data on competitor's products and their market penetration and prepares reports for Sales and Marketing review Qualifications Required: Electrical Engineering qualification with 3-5 years of experience in sales environment (preferably in power quality) Identify the right solution for the customer and contribute to finding the best setup to secure the order Plan work and customer visits ahead in structured way including follow up meetings to keep stakeholders informed and to take their input Customer focused, eagerness to secure orders, hunter profile, diligent and precise Desired: Knowledge of power quality industry Knowledge of the Eaton organization is a plus, this facilitates internal cooperation to meet customer requirements.
