ESL TEACHER
Main Responsibilities
·Teaching ESL and ELA class with 20-25 lessons per week to students whose first language is not English

·Provide a detailed syllabus for class schedules throughout the school year with lessons based on standardized testing standards(e.g. TOEFL,IELTSSATACT) and school missions. Teaching students according to their individual educational needs,including the appropriate classroom setting and providing efficient feedback on homework carried out by students. Engaging students in active class instructions or discussions.

· Assessing,recording,and reporting on the attendance academic progress,classroom behavior and keeping electronic records as required.Maintaining discipline according to school rules and to encourage good practice of punctuality,behavior,standards of homework assignment and collaborative learning as well as self-learning skills.Marking and grading students work and give timely and effective verbal/written feedback.

·Meet school targets for midterm and final examinations.

·Collaborate with homeroom teachers to work as the English advisor for a group of 15 students to plan organize and lead morning activities for students.

·As the English advisor, put forward plans and suggestions for students' standardized English tests and provide individual counseling and tutor for the student's weak English subjects.

·Work with other subject groups and other departments to plan inter disciplinary projects or school activities·Work with Office of College Counseling to write school recommendation letters for senior students for college application and summer school purposes.Attend all meetings, events,student admission activities and interviews held in school.

·Assisting with duties assigned by the English Director and the English Department Head.

-At least two years IGCSE, A-Level IBDP teaching experience
