Role Synopsis:
Craft and orchestrate innovative drama lesson plans that not only adhere to educational standards but also push the boundaries of traditional drama teaching.
Evaluate and celebrate student progress in the dramatic arts through dynamic performances and reflective critique.
Cultivate a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere among students, staff, and the community, enhancing the collective creative spirit.
Manage and animate classroom and theatrical resources to set the stage for a transformative learning experience.
Casting Call:
Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Drama, Performing Arts, or a closely related discipline.
Credentials: Possession of a teaching license or certifications in Drama or Performing Arts Education.
Experience: Minimum of two years in a role that required directing theatrical productions or teaching drama with a significant emphasis on performance arts.
Character Traits: Exceptionally creative, charismatic, and capable of igniting a passion for drama among young learners.
Production Details:
Location: Easily accessible via Metro Line 7 Gu Cun Park plus a brief bus journey.
Drama Focus: Responsible for the creation and adaptation of engaging drama content.
Encore Performances: 20 lessons per week, each lasting 40 minutes.
Rehearsal Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Actors' Guild: Students aged 12-15, with casts of no more than 25 per classroom.
Opening Night: August 2024.
Run Time: One-year contract with potential for renewal.
