Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Global Perspectives Teacher to join our middle school faculty. The successful candidate will have experience teaching IGCSE Global Perspectives and related courses, with a strong background in Economics and Business. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about developing students’ critical thinking, research, and collaborative learning skills while connecting global issues to real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Global Perspectives to middle school students, with integration of Economics and Business concepts.

Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with IGCSE standards.

Guide students in research projects, presentations, and debates to build critical thinking and global awareness.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Support students in preparing for IGCSE assessments and coursework.

Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the interdisciplinary curriculum and develop cross-subject projects.

Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional learning.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Business, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Global Perspectives or related subjects at IGCSE level.

Experience teaching Economics or Business courses is required.

Strong understanding of international education frameworks and inquiry-based learning.
