Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic and qualified Physical Education teacher to join our middle school department. The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes physical literacy, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles in a bilingual K-12 setting.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver dynamic PE lessons for Grades 6–9, covering a range of sports (e.g., basketball, football, swimming, athletics, badminton) and fitness components.

Design and implement age-appropriate units that develop motor skills, tactical awareness, and sportsmanship.

Assess student performance through practical demonstrations, fitness testing, and written reflections; provide constructive feedback.

Organise and supervise inter-class tournaments, house sports competitions, and annual sports days.

Coach after-school sports teams and lead extracurricular athletic clubs (e.g., running club, dance fitness).

Ensure student safety during all physical activities; enforce proper use of equipment and facilities.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment data, and incident reports.

Collaborate with homeroom teachers and academic staff to support student wellbeing and holistic development.

Communicate with parents regarding student progress, participation, and areas for improvement via reports and parent-teacher conferences.

Uphold school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion.

Requirements

Bachelor‘s degree or higher in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years of middle school PE teaching experience in an international or bilingual school setting.

Excellent command of English (native or near-native).

Strong classroom/field management skills and ability to engage students of varying athletic abilities.

First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).

Experience coaching competitive sports teams and organising large-scale sporting events is a plus.
