Eaton is currently seeking a Military Talent Acquisition Program Lead to lead our military recruiting initiatives in the United States. This is a remote opportunity! Position Overview: As the Military Talent Acquisition Program Lead, you will be expected to work with multiple partners in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and in the business to develop and scale programs that will increase the number of Veterans Eaton hires annually. A top priority will be to manage key parts of the talent supply chain, coordinating recruiting efforts across talent acquisition and local manufacturing sites in the United States. Your input and suggestions will deploy meaningful and needle-moving actions that improve these outcomes. Additionally, your work with employment branding and marketing and Eaton’s Employee Resource Groups will shape how Eaton continues to evolve its recruiting and branding strategy targeting veterans inside and outside of Eaton. In this function you will: Advance Eaton’s Veteran event conference strategy in support of branding Eaton and hiring for key target positions across the organization. Work with local manufacturing sites and hub locations to ensure local/regional/national hiring events are planned and resourced. Partner with Eaton’s Veteran Employee Resource Group (ERG) to promote career opportunities, referrals, and participation in conferences. Leverage the broad reach of ERG members to further Eaton’s Veteran strategy. Partner with Eaton’s employer branding and marketing leader to generate social media campaigns to intersect with our conference strategy and support ongoing/all year messaging via Facebook, LinkedIn, and other veteran social platforms. Work in collaboration with Talent Acquisition Supervisors and recruiters to identify and promote veteran talent for open jobs. Actively promote talent identified through conferences, Eaton’s talent network and referrals to ensure Eaton maintains its strong commitment to hiring veterans. Oversee Veteran candidate experience, providing valuable insights to Eaton leaders that helps shape a best-in-class candidate and new hire experience for veterans joining Eaton. Manage all awards programs (submission of requirements) and work back with EBM & Marcom to disseminate the messaging through the right channels. Minimum of 5 years of military recruiting experience within a Fortune 500 organization or within a branch of the military. Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience building and leading a military recruiting strategy Previous military experience - Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, Junior Military Officer, Senior Military Officer Joint Military experience with working knowledge of ranks and occupational codes within all branches of service Detailed and data oriented, strong project management , organization, and time management skills Ability to influence co-workers and customers without authority in a matrix environment Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
