Minibar Attendant 

You set the stage for our guests’ in-room food & beverage experience before they even arrive. As Minibar Attendant, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and that our guests feel welcome from the minute they step into their room.

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offering friendly, professional, and proactive guest service
• Restock guest room Minibars and delivery carts on a daily basis, ensuring product is displayed professionally and expired items are refreshed
• Ensure minibars and delivery carts are clean and polished
• Reporting
• Be an expert on our Minibar menu items
• Assist with maintaining par levels in the store room while rotating product to reduce waste
• Uphold uniform and grooming standards
• Following departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
• Maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety policies and procedures
• Have full knowledge of the hotel’s emergency procedures
• Follow hotel policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Support and assist with all other duties as assigned

 Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum 1 year Food & Beverage service experience required
• Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred
• Serving It Right Certificate
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Ability to work flexible schedules (including evenings, weekends and overnights) 

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent kneeling, bending, and squatting
• Occasional descending/ascending ladders, ramps and stairs
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs
