Mini Bar/Refreshment Centre Attendant (full time)

What you will be doing:
Showing a positive and helpful attitude towards colleagues and supervisors, while maintaining accuracy when checking assigned rooms for consumption of goods and replenishing items on a daily basis. Maintaining the in-room refreshments and equipment in an orderly fashion is essential in working effectively within the department.
- Retrieve daily room assignment list from your manager and prepare for the day
- To be accurate in your count and duties by going to assigned rooms and floors and posting charges and occlusions as per the outlined procedures
- Ensure the handhelds are synced properly and used on the floor according to the Standard operating procedure for re-filling the guest rooms. Operate Handhelds and pagers with ease and confidence by following outlined procedures
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and to report any malfunctions to your direct supervisor/manager
- Maintaining open lines of communication is important, therefore, monthly, weekly and pre-shift briefings are essential in your involvement in the operation
- Stocking of all items to each room is done accurately and ensure that carts are adequately stocked for the same
- Use the stock report to check that carts are adequately equipped for the restocking procedures and expedite
- To be flexible in the hours of operation of the hotel as business demands are made throughout the day
- To ensure end of day reports are filed and handhelds are synced and charged properly.
- Ensure all individual carts are restocked as per the standard set out by the Refreshment Centre Manager
- Ensure that proper procedure is followed will using the grandmaster key. Sign in / Sign out properly the grandmaster key
- Pick up stores when ordered and stack as per standards
- Comply with guest service requests to ensure guest expectations are exceeded
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the department and maintain the equipment of refreshment center
- Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of mini bars and its inventories in assigned rooms
- Communicate with the Royal Service department for service requests and VIP rooms
- All side duties as requested by supervisor are completed to standard before departing for the day
- Adhere to Alcohol Handling Procedure Policies
Your experience and skills include:
- Excellent interpersonal and team player attitude
- Thoroughly organized and attention to detail oriented individual
- Comfortable using computers
- Fluent in English
- Smart Serve Training Certification
Physical Aspects of Position (included but not limited to):
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
