The Audio Solutions Group is looking for a Mixed Signal Verification Lead to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating verification strategies for mixed-signal designs, behavioral modeling of analog circuits and using these models to enable comprehensive, top-down, verification of analog and mixed-signal designs.  As a leader, the individual will own mixed signal verification of multiple products; and will mentor and manage young MSDV engineers spread across other sites.

 

Job Location : Wilmington, MA or Edinburgh, UK

Requirements

  • B.Tech/M.Tech with 8+ years of progressive industry experience in analog/mixed signal behavioral modeling and full chip verification; with exposure to products that integrate a wide variety of analog building blocks such as references, clocking, power management, data conversion etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of analog design concepts either via course work or via design experience. 
  • Knowledge of circuit simulation tools such as SPICE and experience with transistor simulations is a must.
  • Experience with testplan development and verification environment development is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with mixed signal verification at various levels of abstraction and exposure to fast simulator is highly desirable.
  • Experience with developing models in Verilog AMS, wreal or SV real.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are critical for working, influencing and collaborating with the development group spread across the globe.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Create models for analog blocks for verification requirements, trading accuracy, features and simulation speed and setup self-checking model validation.
  • Create verification plans by developing a thorough understanding of the design under test and create self-checking testcases.
  • Be the point of contact for the analog and digital design teams; and ensure that the analog-digital boundary scenarios are adequately covered.
  • Mentor and manage young MSDV engineers spread across different sites
  • Interact with team members from various disciplines (digital design, analog design, digital DV) to bring up Full chip level Mixed-signal environments.
  • Incorporate next generation mixed signal verification methodologies and develop or enhance strategies for co-simulation of analog circuitry with digital.
  • Actively work with corporate CAD teams on new methodologies and flow.
  • Provide support to test and characterization teams during post-silicon validation.
