Qualcomm's Fingerprint sensor design team is responsible for the design of the next generation fingerprint sensors, capable of authentication under OLED displays and various platens. We are looking for a motivated candidate with experience in mixed-signal integrated circuits design in some of the areas below: CMOS image sensors, CMOS pixel design, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Sigma-Delta Modulators, continuous time and switched-cap filters, voltage regulators and precision references, TFT analog circuit design. Responsibilities: The candidate will apply analog/digital integrated circuit design and verification expertise to the development of the next generation fingerprint sensors based on various process technology nodes, such as nm-Si, p-Si LTPS glass TFT, p-Si LTPS flexible PI TFT. He/she will design the sensor pixel, periphery or be responsible of the design of different mixed signal blocks, such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Sigma-Delta Modulators. Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

4+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

- PhD in Electrical Engineering with internship or journal/conference publication OR MSEE - + 4 years of professional experience in the transistor level design of analog or mixed-signal integrated circuits. - Experience in the transistor level design of analog or mixed-signal integrated circuits is required. - 4+ years of Academic or Professional experience using one or more of the following is required: Cadence, Spice, Matlab or Verilog/VHDL. - Pixel design, CMOS image sensor design - ADC/DAC design experience - PLL design experience - CODEC or Class D Audio Design Experience - HW DSP IP design with Matlab and Verilog/VHDL, analog and mixed-signal module and chip level modeling and verification
