The Associate plays a critical role in delivering superior insights to global and regional segments to improve performance, by helping to ensure that the insights generated through sophisticated analytics translate into actions and initiatives that have impact at scale in the organization. The Associate is a key strategic thought partner to the unit’s CFO, unit’s General Manager, regional FP&A team and brand leaders, with a focus on driving effective and data-driven resource allocation and long-term Value Creation for our brands.

This opportunity considers candidates from Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia.

 

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Accounting or equivalent field of study
• Diversified financial management experience, including accounting, planning and supervisory responsibilities. Preferably with involvement in the financial aspects of marketing and sales in a major consumer products business.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and proven ability to manage a process within a complex and hectic environment
• Excel tool advanced skills; Power BI is preferred
• Fluent English; Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Design and issue transparent financial reporting that enables the organization to understand its performance from a financial perspective. Translate financial performance into meaningful, holistic business oriented topics and provide the Demand Finance Director with an independent view of the risks on the P&L.
• Design an effective decision driven planning process for Petcare by challenging the current process and move to a more high level process utilizing the trends of the actual results as a basis.
• Take a proactive role in the development of new reporting formats that drives decision support. Make sure reporting is contemporary, flexible to meet organization changes and delivered via the web, etc.
• Develop the Petcare cash forecasts utilizing balance sheet movements techniques.
• Ensure that the Brand team has robust growth plans for Net Sales and Earnings.
• Work with the BRAND TEAMs in developing their Annual Operating Plans and ensure corrective action throughout the year to deliver commitments.
• Ensure that efficiencies committed during Annual Plans are delivered
• Collaborate with marketing leader to develop innovative projects to provide profitable growth and leverage our costs to drive financial performance
• Support effective presentation of generated insights to Global Business leaders, Regional leadership team and Brand leaders
• To be the global contact for brand strategy launches as well as for the e com channel. Always maintaining the governance and visibility to the business of changes and innovations.
