Job Description

Mobile Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties:

Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune ups, oil changes, tire changes, wheel balancing and filter changes.

Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replacing parts and components as needed.

Maintains vehicle inspection records by recording service and repairs on work orders.

Maintains good housekeeping practices in shop along with keeping an adequate inventory of automotive consumables.

Fleet includes light and medium duty pickup trucks along with a few heavy equipment such as light cranes, backhoe, forklifts and diesel powered electrical bucket truck.
