Job Description

Smartphone Sourcing Manager – Standard Components

Description:
BQ is recruiting an Smartphone Sourcing Manager belonging to Supply Chain Department, to make
full responsibility for developing the necessary structure and processes to source BOM Standard
Components from current or new suppliers to BQ Manufacturing facilities, and stablish long term
business relationships with the approved vendors.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate on BQ Supplier Management project, including new supplier introduction
documentation, supplier audits and supplier profile, KPI and information management.
  • Define and implement the necessary structure, processes, tools and agreements to stablish
long term relation with Smartphone Standard Component Suppliers, such as Memory, SoC
and other electric and mechanical parts. (一位负责采购一般物料)
  • Define and implement the necessary structure, processes, tools and agreements to stablish
long term relation with Smartphone Key Component Suppliers, such as Screen Module,
Camera Module, Battery, Housing, Sounbox, etc (一位负责采购主要物料)
  • Synchronize with BQ Manufacturing department regarding smartphone quantity demand from
customers, in order to provide accurate forecasts to the component suppliers.
  • Supervise the Purchase Orders to the components suppliers.
  • Define and implement the distribution channels and logistics for the components to arrive
properly to BQ Manufacturing facilities
  • Arrange component consignation from / to BQ ODM partners
  • Synchronize with BQ PM and technical teams (Hardware, Mechanical, Quality, etc), to warranty
the delivery on time and with the expected quality.
Background Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, major in Engineering
  • Proven +5 years working experience in project management, sourcing management, supply
change management as well as in consumer electronics projects, especially in mobile
industry.
  • Love for technology. Technical knowledge in Smartphone and Tablet components.
  • Production and supply chain knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written English.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability of learning and adapting quickly in situations requiring technical acumen and
problem solving with new technology
  • Honest and integrity, responsibility, interpersonal skills, team-work player
Contract and perks
  • Full-time open-term contract
  • Salary: depending on experience
  • Social Security registration
