The Global Tax team is a group of talented individuals within Intel Finance who are dedicated to learning, partnering, and delivering on our financial commitments. We're seeking a Mobility Tax Manager who will play an integral role in our Global Tax organization.

The Mobility Tax Manager core scope include effectively engaging with HR, Finance, Payroll and employees to drive regulatory, and overall mobility tax compliance requirements. Perform other assigned U.S. and international taxation responsibilities as required including various special projects. Provide global mobility subject matter expertise to HR representatives, and business line managers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support global payroll and tax compliance process, reporting/sourcing especially for domestic moves, tax reporting and filing processes with external tax services provider.

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with external tax services provider to ensure efficient execution and positive employee experience. Includes overseeing escalations, exceptions, vendor technology, policy, and process improvements.

  • Act as a process simplification champion who supports reducing complexity and partners with clients and key partners to maximize efficiency

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including reviewing and updating process as we see new changes.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects across several internal groups, ensure quality and completion.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree level education or equivalent in Accounting or Finance with a CPA, EA, MST or JD

  • 7+ years of experience with either a multi-national corporation, tax firm, or 'big 4" experience in a global mobility and benefits tax program role managing a substantially large program

  • Strong knowledge of US domestic mobility tax, payroll, and equity considerations

  • Strong knowledge of global mobility accruals, cost allocation and budgeting

  • Understanding of income tax rules, social security, and tax treaties

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced excel and project management skills

  • Systems aptitude and experience with an enterprise system such as SAP and Workday

  • Language proficiency : Fluent in Spanish

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
