GENERAL PURPOSE

Describe the basic function of the job.

Mock Up Coordinator will support the design and marketing teams by running the printing, Lamination & cutting machines, as well as, building the actual mock-ups for the sales presentations and trade shows.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

List the typical duties and responsibilities of the job in order of importance.

• Create mock ups of new items and items for which no sample is available for sales & trade shows purposes.
• Work with the Lead Packaging Designer to understand the quality level of the mock up required.
• Ability to work printers, lamination and cutter machines.
• Fold, Cut and build mock up packaging
• Make necessary adjustments to mock up package, whether by cutting, glueing, etc….
• Assist Lead Packaging Designer with miscellaneous projects
• Ensure mock ups are completed per the trade show schedule
• Inform managers of any issues/concerns with packaging.
• Pack mock ups for trade shows
• Responsible for any incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Provide and maintain supply list for machines and department needs,
• Keep areas clean while working and return items to correct locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Education:

• High School Diploma required; College degree preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Packaging design knowledge is a plus

Years of Related Experience:

• Minimum of 1 years related experience is required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to pay close attention to inventory and call out any discrepancies.
• Capability to build physical mock-ups.
• Manage time effectively to complete assignments in expected time frame.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, Google Docs.)
