Objective of Job

To track the planning and the respect of timing and development costs of the project together with the Model Responsible and the Program Manager.

To manage the day to day status and forecast future needs of program ER&D checkbooks.

Brief Task Description

• To propose planning timelines for project development, integrating the information coming from all company functions, ensuring the consistency with the Product and Process Development Plan and fixing its evolutions
• To ensure that project timing is documented
• Together with Model Team and its own Function:
• To ensure monthly monitoring of development costs and timing
• To identify gaps between planned and actual
• To analyze causes and define a forecast to end (Forecast) to ensure budget objectives and initiatives
• When necessary, collect information from the Model Team & Functions and develop recovery plans related to development cost and timing
• To analyze the component development plan (PDP), filled by the Model Team
• Monthly pulling of SAP R&D actuals to support program status and forecast
• To verify the overcoming of project milestones & gate review according to Product & Process Development Plan
• To collect, together with MR & PM, all Lesson Learned related to planning and development cost issues
• Within his responsibilities, MP has to guarantee the conformity to Internal Control System rules.

Qualifications

General Skills

• Skilled in written English and fluent in spoken English
• Proficient in MS office
• Engineering supplier assessment, project Management background

Functional Skills

• Proofed deep knowledge of automotive industry
• Understand make VS. buy methodology

Experience & Education

• Graduates in Engineering, preferably Automotive
• 2-3 years of supplier development, qualification, contract creation & review
• Proved experience of engineering service provider assessment is a plus
