Job Description

FSM's Equipment Productivity Group is hiring a Senior Data Science Engineer to focus on Module Data Solutions. With Intel's ambitious IDM2.0 manufacturing goals, the focus on equipment performance, machine productivity, and labor efficiency has never been more critical to the future success of the company. The Data Science Engineer will focus on the following objectives to drive module performance to new heights helping achieve best in world fab productivity in our current FSM and future foundry factories:

  • Use predictive modeling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structure and unstructured data.
  • Identify 'grass roots' module productivity solutions and expand across Intel's fab network
  • Develop software, algorithms and applications to expand fab support systems (APC, machine learning, predictive and prescriptive analytics)
  • Centralize and standardize module engineering data support systems to support new fabs
  • Partner with Internal stakeholders to drive Intel's 2yr, 5yr, and 10yr vision for module sustaining
  • Drive strategies to insert leading-edge data systems/solutions on older technologies
  • Partner with suppliers to develop and implement advanced data solutions that will help Intel

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry
  • 5+ years in 300mm fab process or equipment engineering experience
  • 2+ years in data analytics and relational databases (Python, SQL, dashboards, APC, machine learning, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry
  • 7+ years process and equipment development, or sustaining factory experience
  • 3+ years in data analytics and relational databases (Python, SQL, dashboards, APC, machine learning, etc)

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
