Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Molding Process Technician to join our 12-hour day shift team. This position is based at our La Grange, NC facility. This position starts at $19.49/hr This position is responsible for setting molds and processing the raw plastic material into parts that are within specification. In this function you will: Perform all required duties to operate, assemble, set up and maintain equipment. Set-up various types of machines. Plan and perform mold set-up and processing to ensure the best utilization of labor and machinery. Identify problems with machinery, equipment and tools and make repairs and adjustments or request additional technical assistance is necessary. Assemble molds and components as specified in shop orders, routers and blueprints. Make adjustments as necessary to maintain production of quality parts. Break down, clean and store used molds and components. Remove carbon, rust or excess rubber from molds, bushings and blocks. Perform first piece inspection of parts to ensure they are within tolerance. Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed or standard safety regulations. Refer all unusual conditions or defective equipment to supervisor. Use Various tools, and equipment and measuring devices in performance of duties. You will perform molding duties as required to maintain flow of work through the department. You will maintain good working relationship with production operators. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required Must have at least 2 years of experience in programming, setting, running and performing maintenance on molding machines Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship No relocation is provided. Only candidates within 50 miles of La Grange, NC will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
