YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Molecular Biologist, are to: 

• Design, conduct and interpret GLP-compliant experiments independently for producing or characterizing molecular materials for biotech safety assessment and generating high quality data and reports for dossier preparation;
• Author relevant sections in dossiers if needed;
• Be able to execute multiple projects concurrently;
• Be able to assume supervisory functions;
• Utilize scientific knowledge to provide intellectual support for our pending submissions and dossiers;
• Develop and implement process improvement, strategic changes and scientific innovation working with colleagues;
• Perform high quality data documentation, study report and characterization records and ensure QMS, GLP and GRR compliance;
• Effective communication of important results/findings to key stakeholders both internally and externally;
• Support digital transformation and actively make contributions to the improvement of digital fluency in the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science with at least seven years of relevant experience or Master of Science with at least five years of relevant experience or Ph.D. with at least three years of molecular biology/protein biochemistry experience;
• Demonstration of a sustained high level of technical skill and achievement;
• Be able to keep abreast of new science and technological developments and exploit them to continuously improve functional area capabilities;
• A good team player and able to foster a team-based approach to research;
• Be able to interact with colleagues in other functions and department to solve technical problems;
• Excellent communication and writing skills;
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet timelines and projects targets with little direct supervision;
• Digitally fluent and ability to analyze data with relevant software tools.
