YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Molecular Biologist Scientist II, are to: 

• Design, conduct & interpret GLP-compliant experiments independently for producing or characterizing molecular materials for biotech safety assessment, and generating high quality data and reports for dossier preparation;
• Author relevant sections in dossiers if needed;
• Execute multiple projects concurrently;
• Ability to assume supervisory functions;
• Utilize scientific knowledge to provide intellectual support for our pending submissions and dossiers;
• Develop and implement process improvement, strategic changes, and scientific innovation working with colleagues;
• Provide high quality data documentation, study report and characterization records and ensure QMS, GLP and GRR compliance;
• Effectively communicate important results/findings to key stakeholders both internally and externally;
• Support digital transformation and actively make contributions to the improvement of digital fluency in the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. with a minimum of three years molecular biology/protein biochemistry experience, or Master’s degree with a minimum of five years molecular biology/protein biochemistry experience, or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of seven years of molecular biology/protein biochemistry experience;
• Ability to demonstrate a sustained high level of technical skill and achievement;
• Be able to keep abreast of new science and technological developments and exploit them to continuously improve functional area capabilities;
• A good team player and able to foster a team based approach to research;
• Be able to interact with colleagues in other functions and department to solve technical problems;
• Excellent communication and writing skills;
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet timelines and projects targets with little direct supervision;
• Digitally fluent and ability to analyze data with relevant software tools.
