• Hands-on experience in molecular biology, such as:

  • DNA / RNA extraction;

  • PCR primer design (nested PCR / overlap PCR / hybridoma sequence/ cDNA library…) PCR products purification and result analysis;

  • Real-Time PCR primer design (absolute quantification/ relative quantification) and result analysis;

  • Vector construction

  • Restriction enzyme digestion

  • Ligation / transformation / sequencing and result analysis

• Better to have experience in other areas, such as:

  • ELISA

  • Protein expression and purification (run SDS-PAGE / HPLC)

  • Cell culture

  • FACS

A. Education/training background:

• BS or MS in biological engineering or biology

• working experience is preferred.

B. Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience of following software / tools is plus:

  • Molecular biology: VectorNTI, SnapGene, CLC Workbench, etc.

  • Data analysis and process: GraphPad Prism

C. Others:

• Good planning and execution skills to meet deadlines and to handle multi tasks.

• Quick learner and good team player.

• Strong problem-solving skills.
