YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Molecular and Cell Biology Postdoc, are to:
- Lead development of strategies for primary cells and nuclei preparation from complex tissues as well as developing more advanced protocols for single cell sequencing;
- Receive training and understand high-throughput sequencing and computational biology;
- Propose innovative approaches troubleshooting technical problems;
- Apply statistical rigor in experimental design and interpretation;
- Analyze results and make expert recommendations for follow-up steps.

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. Degree in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or a related area;
- Hands-on experience in nuclei and single cell preparations from plants, insects, or mammalian tissues;
- Demonstrated record of innovation in cellular/biochemical assay development;
- Demonstrated success in self-leadership, working in highly collaborative environment and has the ability to coordinate multiple projects across functional and data science teams;
- Communicate with audiences from diverse technical background;
- Excellent skills in experimental design;
- Experience working in highly collaborative environment;
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts and techniques at rapid rate;
- Experience with transcript omics technologies;
- Familiarity with protein characterization techniques;
- Prior experience in cell sorting techniques;
- Peer-review publications record.
Domestic Relocation may be avialable for this role.
