The Mortgage Servicing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the client experience for serviced loans is maintained throughout the life of the loan. These duties include ensuring accurate payment processing, proper tax escrow and insurance account management as well the proper handling of client requests

Key competencies and responsibilities include:

• Optimizing the performance of servicing vendors to ensure the most consistent and highest level of client service satisfaction
• Responsible for data integrity of mortgage servicing information with vendors
• Responsible for oversight of the loan boarding process
o Flow loans
o Bulk acquisitions
o Tax and insurance set up
o Payment options
o 1098 reporting
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all loan servicing regulations.
• Responsible for tracking, responding to all servicing complaints, including legal and regulatory.
• Oversight of servicing vendors inclusive of the identification of improvement opportunities aimed at improving efficiencies, client service and overall vendor performance
• Identification of improvement opportunities related to internal and external processes aimed at improving efficiency, client service and overall vendor performance
• Monitoring vendor performance against critical and contractual service level agreements.
• Ensuring Vendor compliance with UBS Policies and Procedures.
• Coordination and facilitation of ongoing meetings with vendors
• Issue/Incident management and monitoring
