You will be the leader on a team developing and driving a multi cloud SaaS strategy balancing reuse and total cost of ownership working with teams across the portfolio. Responsibilities Responsible for developing strategy, architecture patterns, services and templates to support multiple cloud and on prem deployment with emphasis on maximizing portability and reuse across cloud provider Responsible for defining documentation requirements and approval processes Responsible for developing and implementing containerization and devops strategy from a R&D perspective Partner with Technical Operations to select, develop and validate technology for CICD Develop requirements for tooling Rationalize use of existing tools Drive adoption of CICD technology Develop cloud architecture governance process and team (Architecture and design patterns, guidelines, policies, architecture checklists) Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience 5+ years working on developing software for multiple clouds Demonstrated experience in maximizing portability and reuse across cloud providers Demonstrated experience analyzing and architecting multi-cloud tradeoff decisions balancing security, performance, scalability and reliability Demonstrated experience with SaaS products for both new and existing applications Demonstrated experience in architecting solutions Demonstrated experience developing containerization strategies Demonstrated experience developing cloud APIs Leadership skills working across teams Ability to lead team of architects Excellent communication and persuasion skills Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Experience working with enterprise, engineering, and PLM Applications Experience with transforming or evolving desktop solutions to cloud solutions Experience developing commercial applications Experience with different kinds of databases Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a technology supplier to the United States Federal Government.
