In this role, you have the opportunity to coach and supervise a team of twelve 3rd Party Planners while interacting with customers, vendors, and service representatives to handle a variety of post-sales service functions. The Multi-Vendor Support, 3rd Party Planner Supervisor oversees financial and performance metrics, and drives timely closure of all purchase orders.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Coaching and leading a team of twelve 3rd Party Planners.
Interacting with customers, vendors, and service representatives to handle a variety of post-sales service functions.
Overseeing financial and performance metrics; vendor management and negotiations
Issuing Purchase Orders
Communicating with internal & external customer regarding complex escalations.
Partnering closely with the field and vendors on dispute resolutions; seek field approvals per established processes.
Driving timely closure of all open purchase orders; obtain necessary documentation to close purchase orders & SWOs
Handling escalated internal and external customer situations.
Interfacing with multiple internal departments to maintain the integrity of functional data.
Demonstrating consistent flexibility, adaptability, good judgment and a positive attitude.
Enhancing Philips profitability and growth through achieving the department's goals and objectives.
Facilitating team trainings and meetings.
Participating in interviewing and hiring activities; delegating and/or perform new hire training
Developing, implementing and training process improvements and procedures while using critical thinking.
Leading the day-to-day activity and operations of the team.
Performing other related duties, projects and tasks as assigned.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent combinations of relevant work experience
5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management position
Previous experience with SAP, ServiceMax, and Salesforce
Proven track record in managing urgent and high volume tasks
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
Strong ability to coach and develop individuals
Strong ability to handle multiple conflicting business problems simultaneously under time constraints
Strong track record of creative problem-solving and relationship building
Experience working in/with large, complex organizations
Experience within a matrixed organization, paired with a continuous improvement mindset
