Job purpose:
- Main objective is to create a customer centric commercial multichannel strategy and promote effective execution, manage BPA and research activities effectively and innovatively
- Build and support execution of multichannel strategy, manage all marketing excellence activities including strategic business planning, forecasting, business case building and market research
Responsibilities & Outputs:
Multichannel:
- Supports building of the overarching multichannel strategy for commercial operations
- Improves the effective use of existing channels, looks for channel expansion if necessary
- Advices and supports BUMs and PMs on appropriate channel usage and proper content creation
- Sets proper KPIs/metrics and design proper reports to capture MC activities
- Identifies regional practices that can be localized and promotes local best practices at regional leve
Business Planning and Analysis:
- Develops an appropriate forecasting model based on patient flows and prepares the proposed Budget/LE with the other team members
- Conforms to agreed planning and analyses processes, manages planning & forecasting system
- Initiates and conducts investment optimization analysis for products & business units, supports preparation of business cases
- Develops and maintains best practices and shared approaches, coordinates across audiences and products
- Builds Amgen’s capability in market analysis and planning
- Prepares market analysis for brand planning, country strategy definition, long term product forecasts, ad hoc forecasts and templates, customized systems for forecasting and reporting
Market Research:
- Initiates and coordinates affiliate encompassing market research
- Maximizes the utilization of the available primary and secondary data sources/systems in support of audience/product
Authority:
- Acts mainly as an advisor to Sales and Marketing Effectiveness head and Business Unit Managers in MC, BPA and market research related decision making.
- Decision maker in designing the concepts, selecting systems used in all processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry or consulting to pharma industry
- Demonstrated experience in multichannel, digital strategy, business planning and market research
- Demonstrated experience in working in multinational companies and cross-functional environments
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication
- Project Management skills
- Business understanding including financials and budget management
Preferred Requirement:
- Preferably worked in multichannel & digital marketing, marketing excellence or business planning and analysis departments in pharma industry
