Job Requirements:-

• Degree holder in Creative Media or related disciplines
• At least 2 years exp. in web programming or related fields. Knowledge in HTML5, JavaScript, wordpress plugin and framework; CSS, Content Management System and Xibo is a must
• Knowledge in WCMS Liferay Portal Enterprise Edition Version 6.0 (http://www.liferay.com) or compatible WCMS is a must
• Proficient in graphic design using softwares such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Immediately Available is highly preferred

Job Duties:-

• Create new webpages for latest screening programmes and exhibitions and monthly event calendars covering department’s and hires’ events
• Prepare and edit still images for website
• Prepare the webpages in 3 versions: HTML English version/ HTML Traditional Chinese version/HTML Simplified Chinese version
• Work with other service providers to ensure that any updating to the website 
• Coordinate with various parties within and outside the Government including Information Technology Office (IT Office), various third party contractors, Internet Service Providers, etc., for supporting department’s website including migration of data or information for past events during the contract period
• Liaise with the Hong Kong Memory project team for maintaining, updating the website of Hong Kong Memory which includes copyright liaison, comment on the design and layout of the website and proofread the texts of the website
