Position Description: Lenovo Global Product Education is looking for a Multimedia Developer to generate and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia deliverables. This position is responsible for the design and creation of product and tools training content in the form of tutorial videos and product service videos for Lenovo customers and service providers. Servicing and self-service of Lenovo’s family of products is the primary focus of the multimedia content development. The multimedia developer will lead a team of content developers through the process of data driven decisions, researching video topics, designing based on brand, and creation of customer content. Responsibilities: • Design and develop multimedia deliverables with motion graphics • Work with clients and subject matter experts to understand their requirements • Prepare digital graphics, animations, sound, video, photographs and images for editing #### Position Requirements: Required Education and Experience: • BA/BS degree in multimedia/animation or equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience in multimedia development • 2 years as a lead multimedia developer • Proficient in creating multimedia content and/or using multimedia authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, Snag-iT, Audacity, Adobe eLearning Suite • Proficiency with motion graphics (examples required) • Experience with creating customer content and How To videos • Experience working with Global Teams and/or Cross-functional teams Required Technical/Professional Knowledge/Skills: • Experience designing, writing content, and evaluating video • Strong project management skills and lead multimedia experience • Knowledge and ability to develop how to videos • High level of flexibility, creativity, and dependability • The ability to learn quickly by interacting with subject matter experts, and by using documentation, software and tools • Proficient with a variety of image, graphics, and video authoring tools • Exceptional written communication skills for email correspondence and audio scripts • Excellent English language skills are essential • Understanding of PC technologies and software We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
