Music Teacher (Orchestra Experience Preferred)

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and creative Native English-speaking Music Teacher to join an international/bilingual school in Xiamen. The ideal candidate will have strong music teaching skills, with orchestra experience preferred, and the ability to inspire students through diverse musical experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Teach music classes for students across different age groups
Develop engaging lessons covering music theory, performance, and appreciation
Lead and support school music activities, ensembles, and performances
Provide guidance for students’ musical development
Collaborate with colleagues on school events and arts programs
Requirements
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above in Music, Music Education, or related field
Experience in orchestral performance, conducting, or ensemble teaching preferred
Teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / equivalent) preferred
Previous international/bilingual school teaching experience is an advantage
Female candidates preferred
Candidates currently based in China preferred
Passionate, creative, and enthusiastic about working with students
