1.Plan and teach effective and engaging theatre lessons and cultivate a safe classroom space for students.
2.Develop and maintain a comprehensive drama curriculum that follows the National Common Core Arts Standards (NCAS) standards.
3.Implement and maintain an active, co-curricular theatre program.
4.Implement cross-curricular lessons and activities with collogues when possible.
5.Enhance and cultivate appropriate curriculum.
6.Support student learning by collaborating with other teachers and departments of the school, especially supporting ESL learning in drama classes and programs through differentiation.
7.Support the school’s commitment to the 4C skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity in teaching and working with collogues.
8.Promote cross-cultural understanding among faculty and students.
9.Participate actively in curricular work, curriculum writing, and professional development within the curriculum group and the faculty at large.
10.Enhance dramatic and performance skills for students.
11.Support students with special theatrical talents excel by recommending opportunities for them such as competitions, upcoming auditions, and possibly offer extra theatre tutorials.
