About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Grade 1 Music Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in music and a genuine enthusiasm for introducing young learners to the world of music. You will be responsible for delivering creative, engaging, and age-appropriate music curriculum for 6- to 7-year-old students while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that nurtures a lifelong love of music from the very beginning of their educational journey.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Music Education, Choral Conducting, Vocal Performance, or a related field; Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Native English speaker.
• Prior teaching experience with Grade 1 or early primary students (ages 6-7) in a music classroom setting.
• Deep understanding of early childhood musical development and proven classroom management skills for young learners.
• Ability to design differentiated music instruction and hands-on, play-based learning activities (e.g., singing games, rhythm exercises, simple percussion, movement to music, and introductory music literacy).
• Must be able to pass a background check and a comprehensive music teaching demonstration.
• Experience in international or bilingual primary schools is highly preferred.

• Assessment: Candidates must be prepared to complete a short written task and deliver a full demo music lesson tailored to a Grade 1 level (may include singing, rhythm activities, or movement to music).
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary: 200,000 to 400,000 RMB per year (Negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
• Work Schedule: Standard primary school calendar, Monday to Friday, weekends off.
• Visa: Full work visa sponsorship provided for eligible candidates.
