Job Description
IB Coordinator/Manager Recruitment - International School
Position: IB Coordinator/Manager for our IB/MYP Program
Contract Length:2-5 years
location :Suzhou
Duties:
1. Communicate with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
2. Assist the Vice Principal in developing the MYP curriculum and academic development plans.
3. Supervise and manage daily MYP instruction, teacher performance, and classroom environment.
4. Develop MYP teaching staff, conduct evaluations, and facilitate teacher communication.
5. Maintain and update teaching and grading databases, and manage teaching documents.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker from Western countries such as the USA, Canada, UK, or Singapore.
- University degree plus 2-3 years of IB/MYP teaching experience.
- TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification required.
- Familiarity with the IB/MYP Program; experience as a coordinator or successful teacher preferred.
Salary Package:
1. Basic salary: 35,000 to 50,000 RMB per month.
2. Annual bonus: Over 50,000 RMB.
3. Annual airfare allowance: 10,000 RMB.
4. Housing allowance: Up to 3,800 RMB or on-campus dormitory.
5. Insurance: Comprehensive medical and accident insurance provided.
6. Two paid sick days per semester.

Position Requirements:
1. From English-speaking countries.
2. Holder of IB certificates.
3. At least 2 years of MYP teaching experience and 2 years of MYP management experience.
4. Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related fields.
5. Health check report required.
Job Description:
1. Keep leadership informed of MYP developments.
2. Maintain communication between the school and IBO.
3. Conduct curriculum workshops for staff and parents.
4. Support and mentor new MYP teachers.
5. Lead MYP department environment design.
6. Ensure curriculum documentation is current.
7. Annual reporting to the school board on MYP development.
8. Secure MYP professional development for staff.
9. Manage new MYP student admissions.
10. Lead MYP authorization processes.
*Interview Process:
1. Initial discussion with school HR.
2. Interview with the IB Director and General Principal.
3. Offer of contract.
4. Contract negotiation.
5. Signing of contract.
6. Visa transfer.
