Our IB programme provides a rigorous, inquiry-based learning environment where English is the medium of instruction by foreign teachers.
Position: IB MYP Mathematics Teacher
Student Level: Middle School (Grades 6–10 / MYP Years 1–5)
Start Date: August 2026
Work Schedule
• Hours: 7:40 AM – 4:30 PM
• Lunch Break: 1.5 hours
• Teaching Load: 20 classes per week (40 minutes per class)
Requirements
1. Native English speaker from English-speaking countries
2. Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field (authenticated)
3. IB MYP teaching experience or IB workshop certification highly preferred
4. Minimum 2 years (24 months) related teaching experience at middle school level OR relevant teaching certificate
5. Health check report
6. Eligible for Chinese work visa (Z-visa)
Job Responsibilities
• Deliver MYP Mathematics courses (Standard & Extended) in alignment with IB MYP frameworks and assessment criteria
• Prepare unit plans, lesson plans, and teaching materials; deliver classes punctually and as scheduled
• Guide students through the IB Learner Profile, fostering mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and real-world application of concepts
• Share homeroom teacher duties, including attending class activities, meeting with parents, and handling unexpected classroom issues
• Participate in classroom observations, evaluations, and IB programme professional development
• Maintain effective communication with co-teachers and MYP coordinators to ensure successful instruction
Compensation & Benefits
• Basic Salary: up to 30,000- 32,000 RMB/month
• Annual Bonus: 10,000 RMB+
