Eaton’s Filtration group is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join the team! This position can be located in Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ. Relocation is available for this position. Position Overview: This HR Business Partner develops, implements and administers human resource policies, strategies and services that advance organizational objectives and support a culture of positive employee relations within our NAFTA Filtration business. In this role you will support commercial and functional teams such as sales, marketing, customer service, finance, engineering, materials management and operational excellence.  The client group for this position is a distributed workforce of approximately 100 employees including direct responsibility for a small manufacturing site. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours Essential Functions: You will partner with the global HR Director in deploying HR policies, programs, and initiatives including but not limited to employment, compensation, labor relations, training, talent acquisition and development, work practices and employee selection to improve the organization capability within the region. You will work closely with client groups to motivate and coach employees and managers, improving organizational performance and driving the culture You will enhance organizational capability by supporting our business leaders in attracting, retaining and developing our talent, including leading talent reviews to assess pipeline strength, define skill gaps and identify and implement necessary developmental actions. You will review key HR metrics, analyze root causes and trends and recommend appropriate actions to meet goals You will support our Inclusion and Diversity strategy leveraging internal and external resources to drive the culture of inclusion. You will facilitate elements of the Employee Listening strategy including administration, communication, and action-planning connected with the Eaton Employee Survey and critical site processes You will assist in facilitating the divisional performance review process, including deploying tools to help raise the bar and measure sustained improvements, establishing effective goals and development plans, and planning and hosting performance calibration sessions You will lead the compensation planning cycle for NAFTA, which includes annual merit increases, bonus awards, and equity to ensure talent is rewarded properly in a pay for performance culture You will utilize available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote Eaton leadership behaviors and results. You will consult with HR leaders and functional/business leaders on employee/leader development, organization effectiveness, and culture change initiatives You will drive the Eaton Business System philosophy to ensure standard, high quality processes while supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution At least 5 years of progressive HR experience Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business or human resources Master's degree from an accredited institution HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP Prior experience in a manufacturing environment Prior experience in a multinational company Position Criteria: Demonstrated functional knowledge of governmental regulations and laws that impact the employment relationship Accountable and action-oriented; ability to drive change and business results Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders independently Effective analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with all organizational levels Strong facilitation/coaching skills We make what matters work.
