Job Description

The F11X Equipment and Operations Area Manager will be reporting to the Fab 11x Department Manager and will be responsible for:

  • Managing an organization of 8-12 Shift Group Leaders and 100-150 manufacturing technicians.

  • Responsible for partnering with the Production Dept, Engineering, and RTD partners to ensure safe, successful execution of development, ramp, and production deliverables.

  • They will work with their shift group leader (SGL) team to drive standardization and efficiency across the 168-hour team. The Area Manager (AM) matrixed team will work together to deliver world-class equipment productivity performance using HPM and LEAN principles.

  • They are responsible for aligning and partnering with other AMs to develop roadmaps for standardizing factory standards for operational methodologies, FOTF efficiencies, SGL/MT upskilling and training, and shift critical success indicators.

  • The role is responsible for ensuring a safe, inclusive work environment while meeting your area/factory commitments.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/higher degree (Technical/Engineering/Operations Management) OR 5+ years of semiconductor management experience with an Associate Degree or equivalent Military experience.

  • Candidates must have semiconductor management experience within the last 3 years.

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience is required.

  • Willing to flex hours to work across the 168-hour team. The schedule may be 4X10 with 2 of the days that skew onto the night shift.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 1+ years of demonstrated Kaizen or Rapid Integrated High Velocity leadership.

  • 1+ years of technical experience in Equipment ownership and driving improvements.

  • 1+ years of demonstrated MBPS ( model based problem solving) leadership.
