Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the rapidly growing Intel New Mexico team as a Wafer Level Test Process Engineer for the Wafer Level Test production team. As a Process Engineer you will utilize your test expertise and creativity to sustain and resolve high volume manufacturing process issues for all product lines in F11x.

These responsibilities would include the design of instrumentation/calibration procedures and methods as well as updating and maintaining of existing instrumentation designs for new product introductions.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the tool/instrument calibration status for all the Sort production lines in F11X .
You will be able to develop strong relationships with your upstream and downstream customers to facilitate your work.
You will have the opportunity to partner with multiple equipment suppliers to design and maintain new or updated instrumentation/calibrations. You have the opportunity to establish first of a kind tester/instrument/calibration maintenance techniques and partner with technicians to create procedures for these techniques.
Hybrid work accommodations are available for this position. Please note that for the first 3-6 months, a majority of the time will be spent on site training and learning the people, process and equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related.

  • 2+ years of working experience in electronic or semiconductor industry.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of equipment related work experience.

  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience in tool/instrument calibration.

  • 2+ years of experience in documenting specifications and procedures for high volume manufacturing.

  • Master's degree preferred.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
