Job Description

NM Site Micro-contamination Engineering Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Micro-contamination controls and performance, critical for product quality and reliability, for both the current state and future as changing process technologies, construction, tool removals and new installs require.

  • Examples of key control items are fab particles, mini-environment integrity, protocol monitoring, ionization, ESD, vibration, and copper material controls.

  • A very strong level of leadership and proactivity will be required to successfully maintain controls throughout the anticipated changes in the factory environment.

  • Successful transfer and implementation of Micro-contamination control methodologies from and to technology partners across the Intel factory network.

  • Direct management of approximately six Micro-contamination engineers/technicians and effective utilization of additional contingent workers / contracts to support the above objectives across the multiple factories on the NM Site.

  • Effectively partner with many stakeholders across Construction, Install/Qual/Demo, Corporate Services, new technology programs, and all factory departments as the site changes to support evolving scope / needs.

  • Utilize and strengthen stakeholder relationships to influence and drive team activities, as well as ensure priorities are clear across multiple customer requests.

  • Plan, provide resources for, and direct activities to ensure safety and quality while meeting schedules, standards, and cost.

  • Setting priorities for the team, getting results across boundaries, ensuring an inclusive work environment, developing employees, and managing performance consistent with Insights anchors.

  • Create an environment that reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.

  • Being trustworthy with all sensitive information.

  • Demonstrating discipline, integrity, actions, and behaviors beyond reproach.

  • Strong self-initiative and persistence, ability to translate a high degree of ambiguity into clarity and action for team.

  • Knowledge of key aspects for semiconductor quality, equipment, operational, and cost success.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or higher STEM degree or Bachelors degree with 3+ years of engineering experience.

  • 3+ years of semiconductor experience.

  • 2+ years of experience either as a people manager or as formal leader of factory team(s) with five or more people responsible for technical deliverables/objectives.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Process Engineering Module Group Leader, Yield Group Leader or Micro-contamination Group Leader.

  • 1+ years of experience with Mechanical/other systems within Facilities/Corporate Services teams.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
