New Product Introduction 

Role

Leading new product introduction team to meet development schedule and quality requirements, the candidate will oversee the entire product development cycle and collaborate between internal development team, Program Management team, and suppliers/factories.

Develop and execute a viable schedule for new products based on inputs from Sales & R&D:

• Following guidelines for product development cycle, RTX Gateway system, create checklists to track project tasks from kick-off to mass production
• Coordinate internally and externally to secure all tasks are executed timely and within the required quality level, such as material preparations (including spot buys)
• Take lead on Product Schedule Planning of new models, product & tool transfers, up till MP
• As owner of PoP (Proof of Process), secure analysis and corrective actions are implemented at the factory, or in product design, on issues logged during the development cycle
• Ensure related product manufacturing documentations, such as process flow & control plans, jig & fixtures, are provided by factory and available for executions
• Assist the development team at manufacturing site to support prototype, pilot and ramp-up productions
• Monitor and report on rework cost and excess inventory for TDO implementations
• Safeguard the execution of change orders, or special requirements, in pragmatic manners
• Optimizing production cost given the agreed production outputs and quality levels

• Degree in engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in production and/or project management, preferably in EMS or R&D environment
• Good understating of quality manufacturing procedures and disseminating required supporting documentation
• Good general knowledge of industry standards and practises, such as ISO, IPC, DFx and etc.
• Familiar with the intricacy relationship between product design, engineering, manufacturing and quality requirements
• Ability to analyse, organize and process the captured manufacturing related data
• Frequent travels/station in China is required
