ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the onsite focal point for all technical & operational readiness aspects of the project

• Works closely with Project Management to understand project scope as well as quality, cost & schedule requirements

• Leads regular internal/external project meetings

• Drives resource planning for new programs; including hiring, coaching, development and training for new operator in close collaboration with Ops Manager

• Proactively identifies and reports changes & risk as well as takes appropriate action to mitigate risk and ensure smooth MP ramp

• Analyzes and objectively resolves difficult issues that have the potential to jeopardize HZO’s ability to meet agreed upon project deliverables

• Works cross functionally to obtain necessary approvals for expenditures as well as changes to schedule or budget.

• Sees that all gate reviews during project execution phase are carried out on time, with proper attendance and include all necessary documents and signoffs for the given stage of development

• Once MP Ramp is reached, ensures ~3 months of stable production (with evidence/data) prior to full handover to Ops Manager

PHYSICAL/OTHER DEMANDS:

• Because of time zone differences of those we work with, it is often required to work late into the evening as well as early mornings

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/MS Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• 10+ years experience in Technical Project Management within Consumer Electronics sector.

• >5 years working experience in NPI environment with process, industrial and mechanical engineering groups.

• Experience working with/for international OEMs

• Must be familiar with the following;

• Fixture Jig design/fabrication

• Automated Production line setup, qualification & optimization

• Qualification/buy-off of new processes and equipment

• Quality tools and methodologies; Cpk, 6-Sigma, SPC, FMEA, 8D, etc…

• Proven ability to;

• Read, understand and analyze raw data from the qualification process of new equipment / processes.

• Present in detail to customers on technical issues and their resolutions

• Problem-solve in a cross-functional and dynamic environment

• Perform IDL & DL resources planning, including coaching, training and development

• Must have great leadership in virtual & matrix team environment

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.

• Strong collaboration skills with in/external stakeholders

• Dynamic, open minded and flexible way of working with various functions

• Results-oriented, self-driven, hands on, great attention to details and well organized

• Able to adapt and work under pressure in dynamic environments while keeping sight on the goal

• Ability to travel domestic & internationally
