Role Summary: Located at the GE CTC in Shanghai, China this position will lead the New Product Introduction program to develop and launch Lighting LED Solutions.
Essential Responsibilities: • Lead New Product Introduction program to develop and launch Lighting LED Solutions

• Direct product development team activities in both China and NA in rigorous stage-tollgate product development environment
• Accountable for program budgets and product launch timing
• Oversee, direct and participate in Product Development deliverables and usage of Design for Six Sigma Quality Deployment tool set
• Direct team in defining product specifications, Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design Freeze, Design Validation, Product & Process Qualification
• Work with commercial team to Interface with customers regarding Voice of the Customer input
• Work with Quality, Manufacturing and Sourcing Teams in interfacing with suppliers
• Develop expertise in Product Standards and apply to product design
• Provide direction for team members in shared resource environment. Multi-tasking environment.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to execute in dynamic LED Industry environment is key.

Qualifications/Requirements: • BS – Engineering Mgmt or Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in related discipline beyond BS degree
• Demonstrated capabilities in team leadership
• Broad knowledge base in high technology environment
• Product development and Program Management experience a must

Desired Characteristics: • BS / MS –Mech Eng, Electrical Eng, System Eng

• 5+ years of experience in related discipline beyond BS degree
• Six Sigma background preferred
