We are looking for a Process Development Engineer to join our Advanced Optics Team. Working on Microsoft HoloLens you will be part of an organization which consists of professionals from the fields of optics, mechanical engineering, micro- and nanofabrication, and process technology.
In this role you will drive the lithography development for fabrication of optical and MEMS components. Your hands-on experience and willingness to learn new will enable you to be successful in improving the current processes and come up with new approaches for advanced patterning. You are a quality-obsessed and goal-oriented team player with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Development of next generation patterning approaches and processes
- Process data analysis for continuous improvement
- Drive the quality control procedures for existing and new lithography processes
- Collaborate with experts in other fields, too, to enable successful process integration
Qualifications
- Hands-on background at least in one of the following areas: nano-imprint lithography, photolithography, e-beam lithography
- Data-driven approach to problem solving in complex environments
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated to take personal ownership and deliver results while working in a highly challenging environment
- Ability to work effectively with other design disciplines as well as manufacturing to create scalable solutions
- Growth mindset
- Capability and willingness for occasional international travel
- M.Sc. or higher degree with background in Engineering of relevant field
