Eaton Corporation’s North America Electrical Sales Division has an immediate opening for a National Account Director. This is a remote role. The National Account Director will be responsible for developing and implementing plans and programs for established key accounts and specific target market segments. The primary function of this role will be to develop and implement growth strategies for the assigned accounts. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with the Channel management team to maximize profitable growth and establish rules of engagement between team and the general sales force. You will direct all key account sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans You will build close relationships with key customers to enhance sales volume and customer service. You will identify and address management tools, training needs and performance issues that are limiting the effectiveness of the field sales team. You will manage key account activities of the sales organization, including defining structure and driving continuous improvement and accountability. You will guide and monitor the development and maintenance of customer relationships with respect to all field sales activities. You will support new products development and product improvements. Qualifications Position Criteria Strong understanding of business fundamentals and financials. Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels Product knowledge, market knowledge and established customer relationships Strong business acumen and strategic agility Ability to perform project economic payback analysis, target identification, due diligence, valuation modeling, negotiations, integration. Understanding of competitors’ strategies, technologies, and capabilities Presentation skills, interpersonal skills and team building. Negotiation skills & strong business acumen. Cross-cultural management skills Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Minimum 10 years of sales or marketing experience Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering MBA Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $149,600 - $205,700 a year. Eligible for an annual performance-based incentive plan with a target at 24% of base salary.
