What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure: Are you ready to help usher in the future of Smart Healthcare facilities? We are looking for a motivated experienced professional to join our Healthcare Vertical Market team as a Healthcare Business Development Manager. The Healthcare Business Development Manager (BDM) is a key growth market for Smart Infrastructure. The role of the Healthcare BDM is to serve as business leader/connecter for all business segments, disciplines within the Electrical Products, Solutions/Service, EV Charging and Electrification & Automation businesses. This Healthcare BDM will drive incremental growth in the healthcare market leveraging the entire SI portfolio including building automation, fire alarm, security, electrical products, sustainability, and digitalization. The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing the Smart Healthcare strategy utilizing the full ecosystem of healthcare business partners within Siemens. The Healthcare BDM is responsible for meeting or exceeding business plans as agreed and committed by the Business Units. This individual should be capable of actively participating in and influencing cross functional teams governing the Smart Infrastructure (SI) portfolio and go to market strategy for Smart Healthcare. This Healthcare BDM must be capable of leading across continuously changing teams to execute successful business plans and achieve targets. Relationship development with key internal organizations at the Executive and regional sales levels, as well as with various marketing organizations is needed to clearly understand customer needs and translate those needs into actionable requirements. Active engagement, support of, and strategizing with regional/Business Unit leadership is critical to the success of this role. The Healthcare BDM will drive and coordinate customer engagements with Healthcare executives in the pursuit of promoting the SI Smart Healthcare Value Proposition. Where needed, the Healthcare BDM will also serve as a support to regional sales teams to enhance strategic account development in targeted geographic areas. The Healthcare BDM will need to be capable of managing executive relationships and selling based on value proposition. Strong communication, creativity and interpersonal skills are required for successful interaction with members of all Business Unit functions to achieve objectives. This role actively pulses the Healthcare Market to understand the competitive environment, anticipates market trends and demands, and can develop and presenting business proposals for product / portfolio strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: Develop, recommend, and collaborate with the Healthcare Vertical Market team to continue to improve the overall Healthcare vision, strategy, policy, and direction. Articulate the Smart Infrastructure value proposition to Healthcare executives, specifying engineers and general contractors. Has detailed knowledge of the Healthcare systems, and understands convergence of the MT/IT/OT systems to drive Digitalization, e.g. CMMS, HIMS, energy manager and BAS. Present solution/service sets incorporating SI portfolio that drives differentiation, solve customer problems, improve patient care and satisfaction, improve customer business operations resulting in increased efficiency and enhanced healthcare workflow efficiencies. Drives the successful planning and implementation of all required business development management activities leading to achievement of profit, growth, customer, and employee satisfaction goals for the company. Involved in setting strategic direction and communication for healthcare market to establish near and long-term goals and market strategy for the electrical product, eMobility and the solution/service business portfolios. Conceptualizes and directs the overall creation, development, and execution of the strategic account plans led by the healthcare vertical market team; and assist in development of strategic account plans led by regional sales teams. Organizes and manages project pursuits across multiple business units, divisions and operating companies within Siemens for applicable projects. Co-define target markets and create specific customer messaging and value propositions for target customer segments. Collaborate with external agencies and internal colleagues to create impactful promotional materials that include market data and country sales and marketing input. Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within own organization which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters. Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Develop and manage key opinion leaders; identify and respond to trends impacting customers and markets. Identify and respond to competitors' strategies. Provide input and oversight to creation of training materials for sales and marketing to maximize execution of the business plan and ensure achievement of the business objectives. Qualifications: BS in related discipline and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred. Advanced degrees are desirable. Demonstrated application of advanced knowledge of the Healthcare industry. Minimum 8 -12 years of experience in a directly related field; and successful demonstration of scope within the position described above. Previous sales success in this or similar business environment. Conceptual creativity. Excellent presentation skills. Strong leadership capability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Capability to drive results in a complex and difficult customer environment.
