Siemens Smart Infrastructure What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure: Digitalizes Automation specific operational activities, identifying process and tool changes required to automate manual tasks, improve efficiencies, increase value to customers and employees, in alignment with Global Automation Segment Defines, develops, rollouts, and monitors Automation specific operations tools (acts as a Product Manager and Application Engineer for Automation specific tools) Provides support on tools and processes as needed by National Sales & Operations Leads operations activities for new offerings including: Optimal workflows / tasks / time studies /instructions specific to an offering, using standards set by Business Excellence (BE) for processes and tools Supports optimization of the estimating process / content Technical requirements (offerings, enabling tools) Testing (offering workflows, enabling tools) Rollouts Training content Execution support Regionalizes new global led offerings Optimizes / keeps existing solutions and services up to date including tasks, time studies, etc. Defines and monitors operational KPIs Plans and initiates benchmarking activities and assessments of offerings and segment operational performance and executes corrective actions Conducts deep dive Branch operations reviews and develops improvement plans Regularly communicates and seeks feedback from DSC and Global / National / Branch / Zone Operations; takes corrective actions and documents lessons learned and best practices Works with Segment - Portfolio Management, Business Excellence – Service, Global Service – Automation Operations, Field Sales & Operations – Operations and Development (tools) Reports to Automation Operations Head Requirements: This position supports a Siemens customer who requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 where permitted by applicable law, and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons High school diploma, state-recognize GED, or state-recognized high school proficiency exam; BS/BA preferred 7+ years of industry and field experience Advanced knowledge of Automation Solutions and Service tools (e.g., Si-Quote, DT, CAP+, Looper, BAS Info, SPM, iBase, etc.) Advanced knowledge of Solutions and Service offering and overall processes Demonstrated ability to project manage and drive results across organizational boundaries Ability to travel ~25% Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization Benefits: Competitive salary based on qualifications Health, dental, and vision plans Matching 401(k) up to 6% Flexible vacation plan Paid parental leave #LI-KS1 This job may be based in Colorado.
