职位描述

The Offline Sales Director plays a leadership role in the development and execution of the Offline Sales strategy for the market with full OGSM accountability.

The role needs to drive growth in Offline Sales value & share, continue to outperform the market, lead to build strategic partnerships and relationship with top customers and retailers, and develop critical capabilities in Pet Nutrition Offline Sales channels (including National Key Account, Distributor Channel, Specialty Channel).

The role is a critical member of the Pet Nutrition China Leadership Team.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop annual and 3 year Offline Sales channel strategy.
  • Deliver total Offline Sales channel annual P&L targets (incl. NSV growth, earning, market share etc) year on year through excellent execution of the Offline sales strategy.
  • Build and strengthen strategic partnership with top customers and retailors, enhance Mars’ leadership in pet category and ensure Mars to be the most preferred supplier by top customers.
  • Cultivate a high performance Offline Sales team with an efficient and capable organization.
  • Develop sustainable and robust talent pipeline for Offline Sales organization (especially Sales Leadership roles and other critical sales roles like KAs, key middle level sales manager roles) through internal development and acquisition to enable business’s growth momentum year on year

• Develop and upgrade critical capabilities for Mars, including – •Top customer management

  • Pet category captaincy
  • Route-to-market, including digitalized and O2O solutions

Foster one-demand cross-functional collaboration

Key Relationship:

Reports to: Mars Pet Nutrition China General Manager

  • Peers: Pet Nutrition China Leadership Team
  • Direct Reports: 5 direct reports, 2 HQ teams (Trade Marketing, Sales Development and Operations), 3 Sales Pillars (National Key Account, Distributor Channel, Specialty Channel)

Other key relationships: China x-segment Sales Heads; Global customer leaders

任职条件

  • >15 years working experience in sales, with minimum 5 years in senior sales management role
  • Solid functional experiences in Key Account management, route-to-market business model, field sales force leadership, and HQ strategy development.
  • Deep understanding and insights about China retail market preferred in the consumer goods-related industry
  • Able to work effectively in a matrix and collaborative environment in multi-national companies
  • Strong people leadership experiences and capabilities of leading, engaging, and developing diverse teams.
  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Good command of English and Chinese both written and verbal.
