Our client is an international forwarding and logistics provider headquartered in Europe. Headquartered in Basel (Switzerland), the Group stands at the centre of a world-spanning network, with over 120 branches and 15000 plus headcount including their network of agents, covering the whole world. They have been in business over 140 years and are privately owned. They are about to expand their presence in China.
Location: Taiwan, Taipei
Purpose:
To determine sales strategy and objectives in close cooperation with operations and customers in order to penetrate market searching for business development opportunities and to continuously expand the business base and contribute to increasing profit.
Hunt for Freight Forwarding customers (international/ domestic inbound & outbound)
Experience:
National Sales Manager, International Freight Forwarding
Location: Taiwan, Taipei
Reports to: Managing Director, Hong Kong
Purpose:
To determine sales strategy and objectives in close cooperation with operations and customers in order to penetrate market searching for business development opportunities and to continuously expand the business base and contribute to increasing profit.
Responsibilities:
Hunt for Freight Forwarding customers (international/ domestic inbound & outbound)
Organize a proactive and creative sales organization and ensure a high level of sales and customer focused attitude and behavior across the entire organization
Provide direction to sales staff (outdoor and indoor) with clear and measurable sales targets and product as well as customer information focused onindustry segments
Lead sales staff and monitor performance according to agreed objectives and budgets
Develop new customer relations and maintain existing to further expand the business base
Developing clear strategies, objectives and tactical plans for sales based on customer needs, and aligned them with Business Objectives.
Scheduling sales resources to maximize opportunities on an individual and event basis
Ability to build up and develop a sales team.
Experience:
- Knowhow and experience in leading sales and in air freight and sea freight
- Strong Marketing and Communication skill
- Solid network and contact with National and Global accounts
- Proficiency in English communication is a MUST
- Tertiary education
