The National Technical Applications Manager is responsible for people management and development, achieving customer satisfaction goals and for owning the technical aspects of instrument installation process. The National Technical Applications Manager is pivotal in managing escalation processes. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As the National Technical Applications Manager, your responsibilities will include: Team management: Provide leadership and mentoring for assigned team and products Team disciplinary responsibilities Managing corrective actions with employees as needed Team building and resource management New employee hiring decisions and onboarding Managing account distribution through identifying team member strengths and competencies and then assigning appropriate account matches. Workload reassignment as needed. Management of Delivery of Application Services (Training and Support) in pre-sales, implementation and after-sales. Ensuring the team has the required tools, information, and procedures to implement new instruments and to support customers. Ensuring TASs, AISs and ACs are trained and follow processes and procedures as outlined in Quality Documents Coordinating with all areas of the organization to resolve customer complaints. Working closely with customers to support feedback especially during go-live dates or shortly afterwards. Responsible for successful instrument installation by owning the process through working with project managers, sales, service and TAS's. Expense control Maintaining broad view of clinical application expertise for product lines assigned Responsible for TAO adherence to contractual obligations for services to be delivered and generating revenue for those services requested outside the limits of the contract. As a successful National Technical Applications Manager you will have: 5 to 10 years clinical experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist 8 to 10 years of field experience as a TAS, AIS or AC MLT/ART license or B.Sc. in Medical Technology Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Practices and Procedures and the Customer’s Key Deliverable Clinical Knowledge (customer core practices, clinical workflow, disease pathways) Proven Communication and Customer Interaction skills, including Conflict Management Competency in both English and French is an asset.
